The Green Globe Academy is a web-based e-learning tool specifically developed to study all aspects of Sustainability. Individual courses focus on Sustainability for students as well as professionals in all types of businesses.
The Green Globe Academy was traditionally part of Green Globe, the worldwide most recognized certification for Sustainability. In 2017 the Academy became it's own entity as an international partnership aiming to provide e-learning on a broader basis in multiple languages. Academics, Auditors, Sustainability Experts and Business Development professionals from around the world are working actively together to make Green Globe Academy the world leader in e-learning for Sustainability.
The training's modules are based on the internationally accepted Green Globe Standard which was originally developed in 1993. The Green Globe Standard is currently in version 1.8.
The courses include any and all categories of Sustainability such as Sustainable Management, Social & Economic, Cultural Heritage as well as Environment.
To ensure the highest international standard, all courses are continuously updated. The Green Globe Academy welcomes any comments or suggestions about courses.
Green Globe is an Affiliate Member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, an Affiliate Member of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association and many other esteemed organizations.
